Future

The last trips have proved successful and through experience and reflection, the team has plans to improve the smooth running of future trips.

A project is planned for late 2010 to give us time to replenish supplies and funds .  It is anticipated that this trip will again include a visit to the Jibon Tari Floating Hospital.  As this is visit here is very productive, the stay will probably be longer - maybe 6 days.  This foundation also has two land hospitals.  They may be an option for the remaining days on next visit.

Eventually Dr Sarwar’s dream is to open a specialty hospital to carry out cleft lip/palate surgery for the underprivileged.

This may be some time into the future but until then his friends and colleagues are determined to carry on the Aussi Bangla Smile Projects and continue to put as many  happy smiles on those lovely  friendly Bangladeshi faces as possible.
